M says to A "You look upset" she replies "I'm rather tired" He replies "You should rest. After all , that's why we're here."

Is this a hint to where they are or what this hotel is for/what the film is about?

I mean, it could have a double meaning, but they are at a resort, which is a place that people generally go to rest and relax.

Maybe it's a hint to the viewer to stop trying to figure the film out and just let it wash over instead?
