Theme Song: A Real Tongue Twister!

It's got to be my favorite tv show theme song, but I can't manage to say it, much less sing it, without feeling/sounding like I've got marbles in my mouth!

"Oooh, oooh!"

Interesting. I've never had any problems singing the lyrics.

My only problems with the lyrics was having been born 10 years after the show came out (1971), I had no idea what "Idlewild" was when I first found this show on Nick at Night (late 1980's), but then figured it might have been renamed after JFK, so I asked my mom and turned out I was right.

That happened to me also. It took asking a lot of people untill I knew what Idlewilde was and I was born 10 yrs before you! lol.

That's backed up to Jackson Heights.
There's a scout troop short a child.

CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Thanks for taking me back!
