Season Two on DVD

Season Two was released on DVD this Tuesday. The last two days I've watched three of the DVDs of the four DVD set. ----- Larry Storch as Charlie is priceless, he gets drunk just talking about the bars he goes to. ----- And Mara Lynn as the female Russian general in the episode "Toody and Muldoon Meet the Russians" is fantastic. ----- And "Pretzel Mary" very funny. ----- It is great to finally have all of the episodes
of "Car 54, Where Are You?" on DVD. ----- I was just eleven years old when I first watched the show back in the early 60's, I loved the show back then, and even more so today with the show on DVD. ----- ----- Rusty

Am I the only one who was in complete stitches over the guys watching Captain Block's parrot! That was just hilarious in the most primal sense possible. I actually watched it a second time immediately and laughed all over again.

Yes the parrot episode is also great. ----- "I hate Captain Block, I hate Captain Block" ----- It's great to finally have both seasons of "Car 54, Where Are You?" complete and uncut. ----- ----- Rusty

i just finished watching the 3rd disc as well. So far the one that made me really laugh is The Biggest Day of the Year. Everybody from a patrol officer up to the governor think it's an important day but nobody will admit they don't know what it is. The standout is Al Lewis. I love his Leo Schnauzer character. His facial expressions and his dialogue is extremely well done. The other episodes so far are great too, but this one was the best so far.

Just about the funniest episode of "Car 54, Where Are You?"! And when Captain Block realizes that it was Toody that, inadvertenly, started the entire rigamarole....well, his expression was priceless.
