btw I have heard as underscore music familiar canned music pieces that other shows, produced on Car54's East Coast and over here on the West Coast, used (for instance, a parody of 1900-vintage melodramatic silent flick library music used by Hanna-Barbera from Capitol Records, heard in Augie Doggie, and most famous on Jay Ward's "Rocky and Bullwinkle" "Fractured Fairy Tale" from c.1961 titled "The Ugle Duckling", in an episode ("Sing a Song of Sing Sing:, perhaps) about trying to get someone IN prison (don't ask how) and the classic "Momma wants her son released" recurring scene, with laugh track present.
