well i would say check out the 1960's british tv series "the avengers", by the way, the poster to this movie looks funny, the kid appears as a frightened cat🙀 only the british can make a polite horror movie with class, right, as the choice of words when she shouts, he yells "stop it", and most every woman has the same hairstyle as queen elizabeth👑 i recognise so many of the british actors in this but can't place them, i also recognised this story so well, i suppose it's possible i've seen this a long time ago air on tnt/tcm, or it was a similar piece on "alfred hitchcock presents", so i'm not sure how i first would react to it if it might be quite an unusual extraordinary story, much of it reminds of the powers the good boy anthony had in the twilight zone episode "it's a good life". the reaction on their faces as the airplane was about to go down was unintentionally funny. no blood or anything, and most shot in the daylight (at the british countryside if you enjoy that) which is kind of like how horror movies should be, spooky and mysterious, today it seems to just be about blood and gore, people keep saying how entertainment is being "dumbed down" in remakes and such, isn't that the truth when it comes to most all genres. spoiler follows here, the house is looking so obvious like a miniature prop piece it kind of gives away the end, though the ending is actually moving as he gives his life to save the world and all in this small village with a small group of people. quite extraordinary scenario.
