By that logic, you should just move to Thailand and get it over with.
'Loads of gorgeous (matter of opinion anyway) compliant females' do not make you happy.
Fulfilling any and all bodily desires does not make anyone happy. Otherwise, philosophy, spirituality, meditation, etc. wouldn't even exist, neither would monks or monasteries.
I'd rather go to the Golden Era of Atlantis and Mu or Egypt, when they still used crystals for power and were able to cultivate themselves spiritually, and find so much joy in working.
The 1800s was more harmonious time, too. So was the Edo Period of peace and prosperity.
I find the houses and the life in the 1800s (well, almost 1900s, really) that we were shown just gorgeous and beautiful. I would love to live in a real house like that, to NEVER have to suffer from airplane noise, heavy metal music from neighbours, cheap cigarette smoke everywhere, multi-lane highway traffic noise and pollution, bikes, mopeds, drugs, migrant invasion problem ..
To live a more harmonious, quieter life, where you could go for a nice walk in the unspoiled woods, hearing just the gentle 'clip-clop' of enslaved equines in the distance, and never be bothered by a sudden jet sound or a flying moped, like Cessna.. would be worth it for me. Especially when I could return to a home like George's, with servants, great meals, great friends, lots of books..
.. and a friggin' -time-machine-! (:
"Major Shagathon" has nothing on all that. That 'shagaton' would get boring after a very short while. When you really get to indulge in some bodily desire - eat too much, drink too much, or shag too much, you just become depressed, and think, "is this all?".
When you follow your spirit's calling and are able to cultivate yourself in a harmonious and inspiring environment, you can be happy for life.
So, no.. I wouldn't go to the year 872 thousandwhatever, the eloi can f themselves.
