If you had a time machine......

If I could only go to 1980 and come back, then I'd get a job in 1980 for a few months and spend all the money in Berkshire Hathaway stocks, yeah I'm boring. then maybe go see Dire Straits playing live before traveling to today's time.


If I had a time machine to my use all the time, then I'd very often use to make billions or even become the first trillionaire, with stocks and gambling, and use 99% of the money to help the world.

Traveling to the future is too dangerous, I'd only do it if I became too ill/old and needed to find cure or a way to live longer.

If my only option was 1980 then probably get some way to purchase stocks in companies that are going to be big and set myself for life.

If i had a time machine like that then there is the obvious lottery trick, etc. I might also be able to change my life and even cheat time sometimes i guess. going back to save time, going forward during boring periods. all kinds of abuse can be had.

Heck, if that machine could STOP time, as in go backwards in the speed that would negate passage of time theres a lot of fun to be had that way as well.
