i wonder if anyone has actually tried to find where the filming was done. ever since i first saw the film when i was about 4, i wanted to slide in the water and swing on the vines. just a thought.

It was all shot on the island of Tobago which is a part of the country Trinidad-Tobago in the Carribean.

I'm not sure how much was filmed on location but Barbados is the site of a lot of the film

actually none of it was filmed in Barbados, it was all filmed either in the UK or Tobago.
