One of my old favorites

I was a kid when this came out. I remember standing in a long line that curled around the corner of The Fox Theater in Atlanta. I saw it again several years ago and it has certainly aged, but I loved it when I was a youngster.

I'm much younger, born in 1989. However, I grew up on this film. I remember telling my mom to play it again and again. Good entertainment, have not seen it in a while. Any other childhood favorites? Fox and the Hound!

This is a great movie and an even better book - lot's of good clean fun. My nephews and nieces are now in the 6 to 15 range and it's fun to share my oldies with them like SFR, Willy Wonka, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, etc ...

So much better than the crap being served to modern-day children.

I'm only 18, but for as long as i can remember, this has always been one of my favourite films. There's just something about this film that reallu capyures the true spirit of Disney!!
I can watch this folm over and over again, and i hope that one day when i have children, they too will be able to appreciate this film!

I'm in my teens, and I absolutely love this movie! It sure beats the heck out of so many things that are on TV and in theaters today, especially what is on Disney Channel right now! There is something so charming about the whole story, and also the cast. There's not a bad thing about the entire movie, and it's also remarkably clean for a movie. It's sad that they don't show this on Disney, or TV anymore, and that Disney doesn't make movies like this anymore!
