Funny movie

I loved this movie and all of its comical situations. But one part in particular had me rolling.

*spoiler*
When the brothers find out that "Bertie" is actually a girl, she is on the ground sobbing, explaining that she had to get away from the pirates. To comfort her, Fritz kneels down beside her, pats her back, and as comforting as possible, says, "At least now you can wash your face."

Now, that was probably not meant to be funny, but we played it at least 8 times and it just got even more amusing. Does anybody agree with me?

My brothers and I grew up watching this. Ten years later, we watched it with our younger brothers who hadn't seen it. It was hilarious. The discovery that Bertie was a girl was classic. The way she cried was super funny too.

One of my favorite bits (just a chuckle, not a belly laugh) is early in the movie when **LIGHT SPOILER ALERT** the pirates get scared off by the quarantine flag.

Father: That's a quarantine flag, warning that there's Black Death aboard.
Ernst: How did you know that?
Father: Well, I do a bit of reading too, you know.
Ernst: Hmm...[while thinking, "Wow, the old man's smarter than I thought!]

Of course you realize: this means war!
