Sad to hear the passing of Kevin Corcoran who played Francis in THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON and other Disney classics such as OLD YELLER.

With Kevin's passing, that only leaves Tommy Kirk as the sole surviving member of SWISS, among the main cast.

shareHe was so familiar to anyone who watched Disney movies back then, you thought of him like a family member. Good actor too. I was very disappointed that he was ignored in the Academy Awards memorial, while film critics and publicists nobody ever heard of were accorded the honor. That put him in the same boat as Abe Vigoda (even though his GODFATHER co-star Alex Rocco was acknowledged) and Oscar nominees Ron Moody (Best Actor OLIVER) and songwriter Lesley Gore (FAME).
