'Lulu' was a far cry from 'Marian Paroo'

I know Shirley Jones mostly from "The Music Man" as Marian the Librarian. I saw it a zillion times when I was a kid and it first came out. I hardly recognized her as "Lulu". What fun to see her in such a different role.

That reminds me. I have the soundtrack from The Music Man, too. The movie came out when I was a kid.

Actually, Burt Lancaster reminded me of Harold Hill in this role. :)
