Can't believe that this is the mom from the Partridge Family. Don't know why she didn't become a bigger star on the silver screen. Great film by the way, never get tired of watching it.

That's very true. Shirley was typecast in "mom" roles after "The Partridge Family." It's too bad she didn't have more of a career after that show. She made a handful of films after that, but with no particularly memorable roles that I've seen. I did like "Tank," though.

Another film worth looking into: Shirley looks good in the made-for-TV movie "Winner Take All." There are some decent quality public domain DVDs out there.
