What was uncle Zorba doing to those poor ghosts??

I know! i'm watching it right now on Antenna....the stupi-azz girl didn't even REACT when he said that! She just let it breeze on by! wtf?

It was disturbing just to hear about that and picture it in your mind. Nowadays they would probably flash a gory image of a woman without lips and a very loud music cue to make the audience jump. But I think being forced to imagine it is a lot scarier than the image actually being shown.

But it's still bad writing, poorly worded like something a kid would pen in order to sound 'scary'.

Kind of like Don Knotts in GHOST & MR CHICKEN describing the murder in the Simmons mansion by saying: "The horriblenss and the awfulness of it will never actually be forgotten."

The lawyer going on about Uncle Zorba's lips being ripped away at the very least needs an explanation: just what kinds of ectoplasmic "experiments" were Uncle Zorba performing such that his lips were ripped away as a result?? And can spirits sue for sexual harrassment?
