better special effects and those ghosts were REAL scarey.
This one is more like a scooby doo mystery. That kid annoyed the hell outta me tho. You name me one parent today would just 'chuckle' when told by their 10 year old son he had a 'secret' he couldn't let on with an adult male who often dropped by the house.

warlok1 the only thing good about the remake was the visual effects and make up effects the entire remake was terrible it wasn't even like the original movie expect when the characters used the glasses to see the ghosts other than that the movie pretty much sucked the original movie was better true it was dated but it's a classic hollywood should stop doing remakes did you see piranha 3d that movie looked so cheesy looking in the trailer the original movie looks better in my opinon!
shareI enjoyed the remake as well, and yeah, maybe that was in large part due to the superior effects but there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, I've been looking all over for it and can't find it even mentioned on demand or even on IMDB. It was called 13 Ghosts as well wasn't it?
