Happy Birthday, Fred!

February 2nd is burned on my brain for this reason.

In the episode "The Birthday Party", Barney attempts to keep Fred occupied all day while Wilma and Betty prepare Fred's surprise birthday party.

While Fred and Barney are on the golf cart (which is a dinosaur), they are talking. Fred mentions the day being the day it is.
Barney then replies, "It IS a special day. Today is Groundhog Day!"

Fred : "GROUNDHOG DAY?!"



It still astounds me that for being Groundhog Day, there is no snow on the ground. I'm guessing the Ice Age hadn't happened at the time. 
