'Blessed Event/Dress Rehersal' totally unrealistic
Wilma doesn't have any contractions or anything when the baby's coming. She's not even in any pain. When women go into labor, they're in a lot of pain and usually scream "OMG, contractions! Ah! The baby's coming!!!" But... When Wilma breaks the news to Fred and Barney, she cheerfully yells, "Oh, Freeed, I'm ready!" without the tiniest hint of pain in her voice. It's like she chose when it was time to go to the hospital. Wilma still hasn't gone into labor on the car ride to the hospital. By this time, people have started their breathing they do when they're in labor. Also by this time, they're complaining that the contractions are coming even faster. But not Wilma. She just sits in the car, talking about how the baby will be seven by the time they get to the hospital. Also, in the hospital, Wilma gets checked in, but Fred has to sit in the waiting room with Barney, and they pace around until a doctor goes to get them. Usually men are in the delivery room with their wives. The people at Hanna-Barbara were probably scared that if they showed Wilma giving birth, people would be mad at them. There is a way that you can show a woman giving birth without showing anything explicit. Hanna-Barbara also had to put Wilma in Fred in separate beds after Pebbles came along because now that it was a family show, they couldn't show Fred and Wilma in the same bed anymore. That's just stupid! Anyone else agree with everything I said?
