In the closing credits Fred puts the cat out. But I think I only ever remember the cat being in one or possibly two episodes. That verse Dino who was in nearly every episode.

That cat seemed more of a credits gag than anything else. He did appear in some episodes in quick scenes but was never the forefront of any of them. In comparison to Dino who had some episodes where he was the main focus of it.

I recall him getting a few shots in a few episodes, but otherwise, like you say, he was just a credit gag.
I didn't watch the show all that much, so I thought maybe there was an episode where he ran away or something.
