I thought these message boards were transferred over from IMDB, yet there are quite a few titles and actors who have "no posts yet" when there were actually many posts about them on IMDB.

shareThe posts on the boards of the actors didn't make it. More and more new ones are starting to sprout. It takes a bit of time with a new site.
As for the individual movie boards, there are many posts that were transferred over from IMDb. You may have to "talk "to a few posters who aren't really here in order to get a conversation going with the people who are here. Your posts do end up on Trending, so people will see your posts if they are interested in the movie. I just saw this movie on Trending. I was curious. I would like to see this again, but I have a hard time finding it.
It shows once in a while on TCM. On IMDB, there were many posts about it, but they didn't make the transfer to Movie Chat.
