This is my fav film apart from north by northwest?.

I have always enjoyed watching journey to the centre of the earth, and i also still enjoy watching north by northwest, its amazing to think both star james mason in two great roles, i must say my fav is north by northwest, and with cary grant in such good form it would be hard for any film to be that good. I can not understand how both films did not receive more oscars. Journey to the centre of the earth reminds me of lord of the rings, that was about a ring this is about a little rock that turns out to be a note written by a dying man,james mason finds the rock from pat boone, and they decide that they want to find out where the centre of the earth is, they encounter people who want to take it from them by force, but this does not put them off from there venture, it is always enjoyable and great fun as they encounter monsters and amazing scenery. I consider myself to be a film buff, and i have seen journey to the centre of the earth get very good reviews in film guides, but its never quite rated as good as should be, this is one reason for me wanting to have my say on this film, i hope any one who reads this email to take a chance and watch this film as its a real classic of its time.
