The film shows only the last half of a song from the end of George Shearing's set. It had a very Latin beat. Does anyone know the name of that song?

That was "Rondo," alright.

FWIW, what got me interested in it was that, in the movie, Shearing's piano riff reminded me of the hook to Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love."

Well, both Jack Bruce & Ginger Baker were jazz & blues musicians first, and then rock musicians, so it wouldn't be surprising if they were familiar with "Rondo" & George Shearing.
