DVD and Blu-ray coming 4/24/12

The Jayhawkers will be released by Olive Films on both DVD and Blu-ray on April 24, 2012. Apparently both versions will retail for the same price, $24.95. No bonus features on either disc.

I saw that, exciting. I'm a big Fess Parker fan so I've sort of had a goal to have a "Fess Parker collection", and it doesn't help that many of the films he's been in haven't made it to DVD. Been wanting to see this one for a while, be nice to see Chandler too.

I wasn't until now, thanks for the info! Did manage to catch that one before although I'll definitely buy it when it comes out.

I bought THE JAYHAWKERS because I'm a great fan of Nicole Maurey. The dvd arrived from America yesterday, and as soon as I had finished work I put it on. Its a pretty decent western, but the quality of the print is a bit shaky in places. But I highly recommend it. The early scenes, of Fess Parker chopping wood for Nicole, with the kids looking on, is very reminiscent of SHANE.

James -- I forgot you'd gotten this film (per my query on the TDOTT board), but I just saw that its original soundtrack has just become available. I saw it on SAE for $19.95. I'll post a new, separate thread here with the news.
