Wagon Train theme in The Jayhawkers?

I had The Westerns Channel on while The Jayhawkers aired last nite, and I heard distinctly the 3rd and longest used Wagon Train theme repeatedly in several places.

Research indicates that Jerome Moross was the theme composer for The Jayhawkers in 1959, and he is also credited as the theme composer for WT during the seasons airing from 1959-1965.

I am certain this was the WT theme, the refrain is quite memorable.

Anyone else notice this?

I caught that too. Given television budgets, that wouldn't be a surprise.

I'm watching the movie as I write. Yes, the main theme used in Wagon Train. Great score and good movie.

I saw the movie on the Movies! channel over the weekend and I noticed it, too.
