I have to say this has to be the most saddest movies I have ever seen. Its just oh so depressing,don't get me wrong...I like movies with substance and depth but this was too much for me. I saw this movie just once and avoided seeing it again because it puts me in a deep funk.
sharehow about the crowd in the first camera shot i think it was, unusual i thought to see the twilight zone actor from "the bard" episode in a none comedic part. movies from this time period can usually have much shorter running time than todays, when i thought the movie was wrapping up after experiencing a bit of a 50's chick flick vibe it developed on and became greater after it seemed to have run on dry a while, then you get to understand the great reviews. part of the soundtrack sounds like something from a 1970's cop show.
walking the narrow street,
every day like trapped in,
behind the bricks the green playground,
behind the bushes of the pavements narrow sight,
residents nancy come out on the balcony,
give me the feeling and make it real,
not a dark cloud above this field,
help me out of the narrow street.
