I thought so too. I remember seeing the trailer for this film and I thought it was Natalie Wood. When I watched the film, I was surprised to learn it was Susan Kohner.

I agree, even my mom kept swearing it was Natalie Wood up until three years ago when she saw the film on TCM and actually read the credits.
