Who do you think betrayed Anne and her fellow hiders?

They said in the film it was the thief.

It has never been proven who actually betrayed them.

The movie and the play got who betrayed them and many other facts about everyone involved wrong.

Nobody knows. The play/movie says the "theif." But in real life it's unknown who it was, though many speculate still today.
