Neville Brand as Capone
Anyone know how he got the role? Was there an audition and who else was considered?

That's a good question. I don't know. I thought of other actors who have played Capone (Ben Gazzarra, DeNiro), and I thought Brand was the best. I still remember Brand's line: "And that's a what's a gonna happen to Ness."
I always liked Brand. Remember him as the prison guard outside Burt Lancaster's cell in "Bird Man of Alcatraz."
