The 2025 New Year's marathon continues until 4:00 AM on Thursday morning January 2.

Most of the episodes can be seen FREE On Demand on Freevee.

I now have TZDS from watching on SyFy. I enjoy the more female-centric episodes. "Jess-Bell," "The Ring-a-Ding Girl," "Queen of the Nile," "Spur of the Moment," "Passage on the Lady Anne," "Living Doll," "Number 12 Looks..", "Eye of the Beholder" and so many more that do not feature women.

Consequently, many of my favorites were written by Charles Beaumont, Earl Hamner jr, and Richard Matheson.

Rod Serling said himself that he found writing for women more challenging, so good on him for passing the pencil to these great writers.

I'd have to say my bro is the biggest TZ fan in the world. Even though he has all the episodes on VHS, DVD and Streaming...he STILL watches the NYE SyFy event, with commercials and everything! So I'll give a vote for him. And, heck, I think I'll just go ahead and throw it on myself now.

My favorite ones... The Burgess Merideth / Time episode. The "Mask" episode. And the "Talking Tina" one.

reply

That's really cool about your brother!

reply

I forgot to mention...he has a "Twilight Zone" window sticker on his rear windows in his car! Big fan! :)

reply

Thats nothing. I got a Twilight Zone lunch box

reply

All very impressive! I got an "Eye of the Beholder" hideous doctor/nurse face mask that I wore when required during Covid. Everyone kept more than six feet away. ;D

reply

Just wanted to say that I know I can go to other sites to watch it for free or purchase it myself, on digital...but the TZ marathon on TV is something I looked forward to for years now. There is still something nice about a good old fashioned marathon on live TV.

reply

Agreed. I like knowing that I'm watching it with 'my people.' ;D

reply

I like watching the marathon because the commercial breaks are pretty quick. They pop right along. And the eps roll right into each other. Its easy to stay engaged but still get stuff done around the house. I don't think the show flows the same way without the little intermissions. Which often in the episodes the intermissions denote time breaks in the story itself.

reply

I wish the commercial breaks were a little longer. I love hearing about all the new products and services in my area when watching TV

reply

All we get is lawyer ads, boner pills and health insurance. They know it's all old people watching.

reply

Now that you mentioned it, the commercials are definitely limited during the marathon! Which is interesting because it doesn't make any effort to inform the viewers this. Several times I got up to get something from the kitchen or use the bathroom and I'm like tf!? It's already back on lol

reply

We watched TZ on Prime on NYE. It's been a tradition for quite a few years.

reply

Do yourself a favour, buy the blu-ray sets.

You'll never watch an episode of it on TV again.
