Just wanted to say thanks to whomever saved our discussions. I was sooooo sad when IMDB announced they were closing the boards. I immediately thought about my TZ family.

Yes, I too first thought of the TZ board and all the marathon threads. I thought we were going to have to settle for Reddit but then I found MovieChat! Hopefully we have a good turnout on the Marathon play-by-play on July 4th. I have found that a lot of the other boards have less traffic that IMDB had, which is understandable considering how new MC still is. Hopefully MC grows in popularity and becomes just as great as IMDB was.

I really hope the boards grow too. I've been all over YouTube spreading the word about moviechat.org plus made a contribution. I really hope everyone else eventually finds this place too!
I think it's great too! I just wish we could have everyone here, but I'm sure we lost many in the move. Or better still: I wish the IMDb boards were still around.
