Few "Twilight Zone" characters are more quotable than Mr. Gurney.

Maybe Gurney, Bob and Millie were at the same Mardi Gras where Jason Foster permanently disfigured his heirs ...
Or maybe Gurney was kidnapped by the same aliens that took the Fraziers ... And while these aliens make the Fraziers the playthings of one of their younglings they put Gurney in a simulation and subject him to a myriad of scenarios -- i.e. robbing him of his identity -- all so they can get a better grip on how earthlings behave enabling them to implement an invasion that will strike at all of humankind's most vulnerable spots.
