Is this coming out on DVD?

My dad wants to get the VHS of Onionhead and says they aren't gonna release it on DVD. Well I hate VHS and being a movie filmed in 1958, it was probably done in Cinemascope. So, I want my dad to wait for this to come on DVD in widescreen. Will it come on DVD?

Well, it has come out on DVD in 16:9 Widescreen.

Warner Archive just released it last week.

go to www.warnerarchive.com and do a search for it.

Widescreen? Really? Because TCM, which habitually shows everything in its authentic form, as available , is showing it tonight in pan-and-scan.

Yes really, 16:9 Widescreen.

I would like to buy a copy just so I could burn it!! Terrible movie!
