Access to Anna's Apartment

It appears that everyone has access to Anna's apartment, and she leaves her key in a vase by the door.

In the opening scenes, the servants, her sister and her husband, and Philip just walk in.

The servants are understandable, but why does anyone else think it's a drop-in centre? It's just weird.

The porters for the building came in with her at first when she arrives back at her apartment after being away, and the servants Doris and Carl obviously have access to the place.
I'm assuming as she was due to be away and had an apartment obviously located in a convenient part of London, her sister used it as a base for social occasions and Alfred for business.
