CG reprises his role in To Catch a Thief

Did anyone else feel this way? To Catch a Thief was made 3 years earlier in 1955 where he played a rich handsome bachelor, immaculately tailored, plush and charming. Here it looked like he had strolled right off the set of TCAT straight into Indiscreet, maintaining the same wardrobe, tone and foreplay tactics he had for Grace Kelly, with Ingrid Bergman. Needless to say, this movie was a walk in the park for him and he delivers a relaxed performance with nonchalance, even satirising himself at times. This is a highly recommended after dinner movie with the pleasant sights of Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant generously filling your eyes. You will also be lulled into a peaceful state just listening to Cary Grant deliver his guest-speaker lecture at NATO on currencies and soon after, phone-charm Bergman before being elbowed gently by the sight of Grant's posh dancing; for the movie gives up the only alarm in its plot before settling to a happy conclusion. Have a good night.

I think he often played "Cary Grant" in most of his movies if you get what I mean. But Grant played that role to perfection. Very nice critique of him and the movie by the way. :)
