I was glad to se Lee Van Cleef in this flick, I hadn't noticed his name in the credits so quite surprised when his face showed up.

I don't think I have ever seen him in a a non-spaghetti western before. His role was quite small but he did well, it makes me wonder why he didn't have more roles in westerns by Anthony Mann, John Ford etc.

He's in THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE for Ford, RIDE LONESOME for Boetticher, GUNFIGHT AT THE OK CORRAL for Sturges. He appeared in a ton of westerns and most of the tv westerns when they came in.
