handless clocks


Surprised nobody has asked this.. maybe it was more obvious to others but What did they represent? ... we saw it twice in the beginning in the first dream & then once more in reality when he visits his mother.

Was it supposed to represent his old age? As the older you get, the less time you have & eventually run out of it?

I guess they symbolize the lack of time borders, and the universal story, or more specific, misinterpretation happens all the time.

His fathers watch is the same as the one on the building in the dream. Seeing it reminded him of the dream/that he's at the end of his life.

So the second clock references the first, but as to what the first means...Im not sure :/
