Is this movie too scary for kids?

I remember watching this a LONG time ago and thinking it was really cool. So I was thinking of trying to get it and show it at an upcoming halloween party. But there will be 2 little kids there, ages 5 and 7or8. Do you think this will be too scary for them?

Yes it's far too scary for kids that age. Although a lot of the horror is implied rather than shown, the scenes of the actual Demon will certainly give them nightmares. I'd suggest an range of 11 or 12 upwards for watching this movie.
