The Boy
I love the little boy as observer in the film. He just keeps looking at the adults throughout the film like they are nuts and it makes the whole thing even funnier.

shareI like the shots of the cruller merchant. I notice he's got his cooking equipment on a handcart, so I doubt if he would have stayed one site all day. The vacant lot may have been reasonably lucrative for him. In the background can be seen other boys playing with old bike tires etc. So he knows hungry boys frequent the site.
Also the sugar. No light dusting of icing sugar on dainty crullers for them lads. It's rough and ready fare.
