Funniest film ever !!!!

I bought a VHS copy of this film years ago and it's even funnier now. I see Mon Oncle is wearing the same socks as the original Dr. Who (Tom Baker). The woman in the fur jacket is brilliant. Always laughing ! She makes me laugh too. I must go and search for my copy.

I first saw this film at the Savoy cinema in Sydney in 1960 when I was 10 years old. It probably had more impact in those days as the situations of facing modernity were familiar to everyone. The music score is magical. I have a recording of it for two electronic organs (paradoxically!).
