Hulot's House

Was his house/apt real or was it a set for the film? Or is the whole of Hulot's neighborhood a set?

It was especially designed for the film (by Jacques Lagrange, I think, although I can't remember for sure).

Just curious, is the house still there, possibly preserved as a tourist attraction or something? I'd love to see a house like that.
