I had heard about several users creating fake accounts in the females aged 45+ category to vote down popular movies. This seems to be the case here. Otherwise, I'm at a loss for words.
It wouldn't be the first time there were artificial voters on IMDb. I'm getting sick of it. How anyone can take their top 250 list seriously any more is beyond me.
There's no way that 73% of the females 45+ who would watch this film would hate it. Just to doublecheck, I asked my mom.

This movie is on a streaming service called My Retro Flix (under the category MOVIES/FOREIGN). It's a channel/app on my Roku. It might be online, too. I never checked.
Conspiracy? A smear campaign against older women as an expression of some mysterious pathology?
That's almost easier to believe than an anti-war love story/melodrama such as this being so overwhelmingly hated by these people - even considering that the sample size is so tiny.
Although it should be noted that by now the amount of females aged 45+ voting it 1/10 is down to 43%.
