Star Wars Expanded Universe 'borrowed' name?

Is it possible that EU creators "borrowed" first name of lady Washizu for the character Asajj Ventress? Am I right or wrong? I wish it is true :)

It's certainly possible. George Lucas is a Kurosawa fan, and I presume many of his underlings are as well.
