Subtitles.

Has anyone else noticed how many mistakes there are in the substitles? Not once has it said "corpses" instead of "cropses". It's just full of errors!

I think you and I have the same version. I bought mine at a legitimate shop for $5(singapore currency which is approx.US$3). It's actually a DVD that's made in China and they're legal to sell here and technically original. They just don't have any extras in the dvd, just the movie with subtitles and that's it. But I was extremely disappointed with the subtitles. Several misspellings, wrong use of plurals and sometimes when the characters spoke, there were no subtitles at all. But amazingly, I still understood the film and enjoyed it thoroughly. However, I bought Rashomon from the same distributor and the translation was fine.
