Too short?

Hi everyone, first off I just want to say I haven't seen Throne of Blood yet, but I've been recently getting into Kurosawa and I'm just wondering: at 109 minutes, does this film feel too short? It's about the length as Yojimbo, which is, so far as I know, a smaller-scale film than ToB.

This won't stop me from watching it, it's just that after Seven Samurai and Ran, it seems I can't get enough of long jidai-geki films.

I felt it was paced appropriately, encompassing most of the literature while adapting it to the cultural boundaries. Don't expect Ran, it falls a long way short, but its a great film to those who love Kurosawa, and I'm sure you will appreciate it.

Last film seen: Grave of the Fireflies 10/10
