Making a 25,000 vote threshold was a really poor policy on IMDb's part, it further alienates obscurer or lesser known films from gaining their rightful legacy. I'm happy that Throne of Blood has regained its rightful place, but there are still heaps of films that are yet to rejoin it.

And yes, I agree 25 000 was far too steep an increase. perhaps 10 000 or 15 000 could've worked, but not 25 000.
Don't listen to the negative ones; their arguments are irrational.
