a thought in mind... 3 hr-TV movie

So I recently bought the book. And it is absolutely amazing, ties with the book. But for my curiosity, I would really think that, instead of a movie being remade as the suppose comedy (goddamn those producers), they should just remake the original movie, with all the details that are in the novel (excluded in the movie) into a TV 3-hour movie.

The idea of a 3-hour TV movie of The Incredible Shrinking Man would be most excellent, one hour would focus on the mainstream of Scott Carey's notice of his shortage to the point he starts shrinking and ends up with little frustrations growing worst, the second hour would be his change of life as he deals with a lot of lust (mostly absent from the original movie), leading up to the cellar and to his new submicroscopic world.

OBVIOUSLY

Might be a good idea. Although it would be so hard to measure up to the original. I don't think I read the book. I do like Richard Matheson.

Maybe entitle it "The Shrinking Man," like the book. It's funny how they change titles for movies, isn't it? Like changing "The Body Snatchers" to "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers."
