It is hard to believe that it is 51 years since this movie was released and 23 years since Grant Williams died (you can see his grave on the Find a Grave webside) The special effects in this movie are so good - does anyone know how they were produced?
shareA few years ago the movie ran on AMC (before they ratted out and started cutting films and showing commercials)and a intro by Bob Dorian, the host then, said it was ALL done the hard way. They build giant props and sets where they needed to (all under wraps -- no advance publicity on this) and empolyed very good camera people. No CGI then!
