Watched the movie for the first time today. The portion of the film where he 'reinvented' the marketing message of the pill was like a precursor of current Viagra commercials, particularly the blonde in bed talking about how the pill helped her man.

On a related note, the sexual innuendos in that film are pretty shocking for that time period. Not complaining, just noting my surprise.

Lonesome turned them into "little yeller boner pills", fer sure!

Related Note: You're right, not too many "nice" girls would have a man's suitcase outside her room overnight.
