Fun Breaking Bad parallels.

First off I love this movie more each time I watch it. I couldn't help but notice a few similarities between the finale of the film and the train sequence in the episode Dead Freight. Both involve a train obviously, both scenes edited extremely well, they both involve misguided characters who are determined to get what they want at all costs, both scenes are mission based with a huge risk vs. reward factor, both scenes end with a horrible mistake or miscalculation, and both have unexpected moral implications. Anyway just thought it was interesting. It may have been mentioned before. Gilligan may have used it as a template I have no idea. Any other similarities?
