Yes I just watched both movies for the first time recently, and enjoyed this more. I thought it had better story and characters. Lawrence was too long and bloated, and tried to hard to be some epic that it really never felt like it was. Had a great score, and was a very good movie, but it's overrated and also Peter otoole was a bit overrated, I would have given gregory peck the Oscar any day
