Bridge Explosion
Did anyone notice there was a second delayed smaller bridge explosion ? Was this possible the way the commando team wired the explosives ?

Imdb goofs and trivia sections are spectacularly unreliable and often full of contradictions. I can't be the only person who has given up reading them. At least if something is mentioned on the boards themselves people can argue the point.
shareI read that the filmmakers set a 2nd, smaller charge- and detonated it- to ensure the train would go completely off the bridge, for the cameras. Also, the last car of the train had a diesel engine in it, to keep the train moving, no matter what.
To answer your question, since there was just a single plunger and wire, no, the team would not have been able to set off a 2nd, delayed explosion. This was just movie 'magic.'
Amen to that! I read the trivia for this film just now, and there were to contradicting stories about why a certain actor didn't take the lead role. Amazing. Seems there is no fact checking on the bits.
